The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
